I have recently opened a freedom suite in Southport and I’m available for new clients.
I have owned an amazing salon in Adelaide for the last 12 years, (In Awe Salon) then I fell in love and moved to the Gold Coast.
I am a hair educator and have travelled around Australia teaching creative cut and colour classes.

Day 1: Client experience, colour theory, colour application (each stylist learned something different, foils and global) - consultation

Day 2: understanding scissors, blades and results - cutting techniques and results - shape, width and height - cutting a shag on a mani head.

Day 3: CLIENTS!- look and learn - consultations - colours - cuts - styling

We have covered HEAPS over a three day period.
I’m back in 12 weeks and now we have a clear understanding of each other, learning styles and skill opportunities we will be dedicating our time to a focused training program that will get the team smashing goals!

Then I consulted Bek about where each team member is and where they need to be.

Next was the Learning Quiz!!!

Now every Wednesday I oversee training with a person used plan to get the team on the floor making money and kicking goals!!

After each training I create a template on the @skool_community_ exclusively aimed at the Black Flamingo team.

there is nothing more annoying than when your cord is all twisted up and then it gets caught under the chair, and it happens like 12 times in one blow dry! 🤬

If you wrap your blow dryer like this with the figure method then I promise you, your blow dry will last longer because the electrical cords inside are not gonna be damaged or bent or anything like that and it’ll just make your life every day easier in the salon.

One-on-one training has my heart.
When I had my own salon, I was pulled in every direction – managing the team, running the business, and trying to find time for the part I loved most: teaching.
Now, I get to do what lights me up every day.
I take the pressure off salon owners by providing tailored, hands-on training for their apprentices, giving them the growth and support they need – while freeing up owners to focus on everything else it takes to run a busy salon.
This is exactly where I’m meant to be.

Team Training Days at Ginger & Spice

Once a month, the whole Ginger & Spice team comes together for training - not just to learn something new, but to grow as stylists and sharpen their craft. This month, we kicked off with one of the most requested cuts right now: the wolf cut.

But it wasn’t just about following a trend - we went deeper.
We explored shape, balance, and body positioning while cutting. We looked at how to draw a haircut on paper before picking up the scissors, training our minds to understand how to turn a 2D inspiration photo into a 3D masterpiece that suits the individual client.

It’s all about bridging that gap between what a client sees and what we create - and that starts with education, intention, and teamwork.
